Common questions
What can I classify?
Anything you can send as plain text in an API call: comments, forum posts, form submissions, support messages, documents and more.
What is a schema?
A schema is a structure where you define the categories your content will be sorted into. Each category gets a plain-language description.
What is a classification key?
It is the result of classification: the key of the category your content was sorted into. Your application reads it from the API response and acts on it.
How do I send content for classification?
Generate an API key in the dashboard, then send your content to the API with your schema. The response returns the classification key.
Can I test a schema before integrating the API?
Yes. The dashboard lets you test classifications against a schema before you write any code.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 500 requests per month, a 1,000 character limit per message and the built-in anti-spam schema template. Custom schemas need a paid plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Anti Spam and Classy plans include a 14-day free trial, and you do not need a credit card to start.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your API requests stop being classified until you choose a plan. You keep your login, basic dashboard access and your existing schemas, which resume working as soon as you are on a plan.
Can I see past classifications?
Yes. The dashboard keeps a history of every classification, including the content submitted and the result returned, and updates in real time.
